A Few Favorite Resources

A Picture History of Great Inventors: a whimsically illustrated exploration of great inventors through history. This book has given my own children great inspiration for creating their own narrations.

Along Came Galileo: a wonderful living book to introduce young readers to one of the greatest scientists of all time. Short chapters that are great for read aloud or independent readers.

Gustav Holst: The Planets, Full Suite on Youtube

Little Kids First Big Book of Space: full of photos and interesting facts, this is a great book to introduce young students to the mysteries of space. It has been a staple in my home for years!

The Mysteries of the Universe: a fascinating deep dive into the wonders of our universe for middle grade students.

The McElderry Book of Greek Myths: My all-time favorite book of Greek myths for children. The illustrations are beautiful and engaging, and the stories are appropriate for younger audiences. This one comes and goes on Amazon, so keep an eye on it or look for it on your favorite used book site!
